Terra cotta pot

I just picked up a terra cotta pot from Home Depot for a 10 gallon aquarium I'm setting up and while I was there I noticed they also had some nice glazed terra cotta pots as well. Here is what they look like. Can anyone tell me if these would be safe to use in an aquarium? I don't know anything about pottery or glaze or what is used to do the glazing. Thanks!

Can't see them You could always coat them with an aquarium safe epoxy resin!

I have used both glazed and unglazed flower pots from H-depot many times without any problems.

i have unglazed terra cotta pots ( mini's) in my 20 gallon, they are fine

I see these in tanks at the LFS, I think it will be fine...

I would still pop them in some hot water.
