I know you can use them I was just wondering what I need to do to them before I put them in my tank. Do they need to be boiled or anything? These have never had anything in them (except for dust lol. )
Well the best way would be with a wet saw which is used in the masonary buissness. Thats how they get nice smooth lines with no chips. I would say maybe try a ban saw at a high speed? Use something like a metal blade. Other wise you can try to score the pots and use a rock hammer to get a clean break but this would most likely be quite the challenge.blackwolfXKAV said:on a side note to that question (which btw is one i was just about to ask) most of my tanks only need 1/2 a clay pot. whats the best way to cut them in half (and then should i use sandpaper to smooth it out)?
Thanks
