Terrarium (hopefull :))

Wattage would depend on what you are putting in there.

i know thay make them but i'm more interest how much light (wattage) would be appropriate over the tank, also i may just make a hood my self instead of buying one

What a deal! Those tanks are really nice. I can't believe I don't have one!

Anyways, If you pick up a hood for one of those with the single bulb they're only about $25 bucks. They take either type of compact fluorescent bulbs LifelessForm mentioned in 13 or 26 watt. I'd go with the 2.0 Daylight if you're going to get a White's Tree Frog.

for plants i was thinking some ferns probably use some plants from my tank like HC or anubias maybe some cryps. also was looking at the plant over at black forest and likes these three (Begonia Foliosa, Peperomia angulata, and some type of bromeliads) [FONT=&quot]

Definitely read up on Bromeliades and other Epiphytes. Some species are much easier to keep alive than others.

so i started building the back ground, picked up more than enough great stuff and silicon (got white by accident so went back and replaced it with clear).

I used part of the old background because i kinda liked it. and thought it would be cool to have look like part rock was facing out.

so i also picked up a nice peace of drift wood that i used in the back also i think there's probably going to be a plant in the nook thats it makes

and this is what it looks like all foamed up. plant to carve it a bit ones every thing is done setting but it feels like i finally got started on this tank (i am really impatient)

I'll be siliconing it tomorrow so should have photos of that too.

thanks
also another update, i'm getting one of the 12" exo-terra hoods for the tank from Dr. foster smith, on sale for 18.99, also getting HydroBall from there. and this was all for 29.99 shipped or something like that (i used a $5 coupon code). also realized i might have another of the exo-terra hoods lying at home so need to get it shipped out here here some time too. so look like i'll have a nice viv really soon
