I've recently started making small terrariums for sale at my job, and wanted to make a log of them, since I'm not actually keeping any. So far I've only made four, but have amassed enough materials to crank out a bunch more in the coming weeks. I really enjoy making these things, and it's great to actually be able to make a few bucks doing it. Pics are posted in chronological order, and yes that is the former bulbosaur terrarium.

Nice work. #3 looks like you took a chunk out of a forest and stuck it in a bowl. :)

Pretty freaking cool

awesome, could anything live in there? (with tops covered of course)

Thanks for looking, folks! U_N, these things are way too small to support anything beyond insect life.

Beautiful setups! Is there any issue with loss of humidity since they're open-top? And are those baby trees in the 3rd and 4th setups? They look like some sort of conifer. I love # 3 :)

Saram, these guys probably wouldnt do too well at the 100% humidity and complete lack of air movement in a sealed terrarium. Given consistent misting, they should be fine in an open top vessel. What appears to be conifer seedlings are actually strands of hair cap moss.

Won't a charmander and a bonsai kitty fight? Aesthetically though, bonsai kitties aren't a match. They take up way too much space, and really screw with the sense of scale.

Thanks for looking, folks.
