TEST KITS

A very debatable question...lol...Personaly, i prefer either Salifert or API..Find them both easy to read and use, accuracy is pretty good on them too...out of the two, i would say Salifert is the more accurate..

Hope that helps

Niko

I use API firt one i Saw First one i Got

I have a couple of them and the only problem is when I compare them to Salifert or just about any other kits they read different unless I check them in natural daylight then they read the same.

Anyone have any complaints with Red Sea? That's what I use currently...

I have one of them as well because I needed it in a pinch. Not only does it read differently I found the recommended parameters to be off from what I think they should be.

I use Salifert for everything except alkalinity, which seems to be skewed quite often (usually reading higher than it actually is). The SeaTest kits for alkalinity are simply repackaged Hach (or maybe it is LaMotte?) kits, so they are fairly precise, but their resolution is much lower.
