Quarantine tank will probably put him into shock since it's so different from what he has been living in for the past 6 years.

I might have to make a exception for this case since it's already seems to be dying..

That's exactly what I was thinking, but shouldn't you move him there immediately because if it IS disease/parasite... why risk infecting everyone else too.

Fish was dead when the lights come on today.

Sorry to hear that. It sucks to have the lights come on and find out something passed away overnight.

6+ years is a pretty good lifespan. Any tips on how the fish lived that long?
