Hi All,

I've been thinking what I want to do with my empty 20G... and I think I want small fishes this time. I don't have any tetra's yet, so I thought I would try them out.

I'm thinking

8 cardinals
8 glowlights
8 lemons
or 8 harlequins?
plus 3 peppered cories for cleaning.

I know that's blowing the one inch rule out of the water, but all these fish are small and slender, so the waste shouldn't be too much.

What do you all think?

Thanks

A little overstocked by most standards but I think it's doable if you are commited to overfiltering, live plants and frequent water changes.

After keeping several smaller schools of tetras, I really wish I had done fewer but larger schools. I wouldn't do 3 schools only 2 but make them larger. Have you considered rummy nose tetras? They are the coolest tetras and the best schoolers! I've always wanted a tank full of cardinals and rummies!
