tetras to go with Angels?

Folks:

I may have completely lost it here but:

I have had a 5" angel and now one 4" angel and one 5" angel in my main tank with 5 neon tetras and 5 glowlight tetras.

I have never observed the angels bothering the tetras.

I feed home made beefheart, shrimp and fish recipes as well as brine shrimp, blood worms and Tetramin Tropical Flakes.

I typically slightly over feed the home made recipes.

I also now have 11 red serpae tetras in my main tank.
These are very, very pretty tetras and much larger than the neons and glowlights.
Although I purchased these tetras when juvies they are now adult size but I have never observed my angels bothering them.

My serpae are much more distinctive than the one depicted above.

I'm going with congo tetra's!!

Congo's aren't a bad idea. Lemon tetras might be too big to be eaten too. The general rule of thumb is most fish will eat anything they can fit in their mouths. Angels are notorious for eating neons so you can imagine anything about that body size/shape would be fair game.

In my G/fs tank she has 6 fruit salad tetras (got them before we found out about people dying fish) 6 danios, 2 hatchet, 1 molly, 4 platties, 6 guppies, 2 ottos, 1 whip tail and 2 medium size angels. There is no sign of fin nipping. The gupies could fit in there mouths but they are peaceful angel fish. I guess it would depend on the temperament of your angels.
