tetratec 500 filter help?

i just bought a 55gallon off this guy and he threw in this filter and said it works and have all the parts (i think) but can not really figure out how to put it together. anyone have this filter and can give me some pics or some instructions on how everything goes together.
also what filters does this thing use?

I think the 500 is the PF500 HOB. I had a PF300, I couldn't really figure out how to put it together so I emailed Tetra and the customer service rep scanned the manual and emailed it to me.

yeah it is the HOB one. i called tetra and they said they are mailing a copy to me so i will not get it till the first of next week so i was hoping i could get it running before then.

BTW did yours hang level on the back of the tank because mine is not at all. i am thinking about putting some kind of spacer between the filter and the back of the tank.

The filter actually doesnt work properly if it is level. It needs to be tilted slightly forward towards the tank.
