Hi all, just a quick question about my texas. He has been behaving strangely, i can't decide if he's being territorial or if it is some sort of mateing dance.
What do you guys think?

Cleaning the space for a female to lay the eggs?
He's the only texas in the tank. I do have a female red headed cichlid he's been acting strangely around, is it possible those two could breed or do you think he is just getting his hopes up?

He wants to mate. He is cleaning an area for the female to lay her eggs. He does not know that there is not another female texas in the tank for him.
