Texas Holey Rock addition

Cool thanks all.. Plus i got the Coler approval thanks Paddy, hehehe for real thanks..

Hey GPRC i would say check around local pet shops first but usually higher priced there and then check local garden nurseries or landscape stores they usually have it for less and honestly if you can afford it you could buy it on line but shipping is going to be very expensive..

In our city we have a dude that drives in with a white van from Texas and sells it to local shops, now i have never witness this but i here it from a lot of folks..

As for me i went to several local pet shops around my city in which case we have over 20+ pet stores in our city so really no short fall of THR..

Hey Ethan man i am hoping so i lost two more Alto's this morning..

I heard. My male keeps the the other male at bay, but he;s not overly aggressive. Your biggest issue is figuring out who's doing the killing. I always removed the aggressor and kept the less aggressive specimens. This has worked out well for me with Trets and Sexis.
You have a large group of both Calvus and Julies. We talked about both, and if you can't see the aggression coming from the Calvus, I'd be willing to bet you have a large Juli doing some damage in there. I think I'll stick to smaller varients like Transcriptus, simply because I know they are too small to cause deaths among the rest of my inhabitants. Good luck. Now that you've added all that rock it's going to be a PITA trying to catch offenders in there without a tear down.

you definatly needed some THR. it looks nice. i wish i could find some peices like that at keller material. you really have to scope out all the rocks to find some nice peices. just wait until the diatoms start to grow on the rocks.

Man you ain't kidding it will be a nightmare on the tear down, so right now all is good i haven't had a killing in a few days and i believe it was the black calvus doing it, still not 100% but i am almost sure it was them as for the Julido's they seem to keep messing with each other, so on a short note the tank is up and set i will not tear down because i am too lazy if at any issue i will try to catch fry as they come into play.. Thanks Ethan..

Hey buddy yeah i did have a problem with the brown diatoms before but no longer because i have a pair of Albino Bristelnose Pleco's that do an excellent job on clean up and no one really messes with them.. But i am satisfied with the look now.. Thanks buddy..

really? i might have to invest in some of those. i like the ones that have the blue eyes that are being sold on here. my clown plecostomus is always getting attacked in his tank. he has found a corner and actually burrows in the sand. i have a vid of him getting attacked by the lelupi that i used to have. the diatoms in the 55 arnt to bad. they are barely noticeable. however in the 10gs its so bad that its not even funny. there is now only a 2inch circle i look through to see my multies.

Thanks Chris i appreciate that buddy..

Hey Austin i wouldn't add a pleco to a 10 too small of a territory and the pleco would be dealt with beat downs on a continuous occurrence.. As for the 55gal a pair should be god to go..

I love a tank full of THR.

Looks great.

Thanks john i appreciate the kind words.. I am pleased with my setup now.. Thanks again friend..
