Texas holey rocks finally: Pic Heavy

I'm not finished with the clean up of the rocks, but thought I'd post some pics of where I am with this, so far.

I am still soaking some of the rocks to get rid of the bleach I soaked them in for a while. When I can get them out of the water I will set them all up and take pics from all angles.

My sister took the pics for me and worked hard doing it. Thanks, sis.

Some of the best holey I've ever seen. That big piece with the inbedded caves makes me drool...

This just just cries out for an African cichlid setup LOL. What are your plans for all this sweet ore?

My husband thinks it weighs close to 100 lbs but I'm not sure. We'll try to weigh it tomorrow. I think that's the one I measured that is 22 inches long by about 10.5 inches high and about 13 inches deep. The cave is incredible. Those holes on the side go into the main cavern as well.

That other rock on the 4 wheeler with the big cave rock is also amazing. All those openings go into the rock like a honeycomb.
The openings are rough edged on that one and in general rough feeling, but the back side is smoother and has smaller openings leading out.

It would have to be or small fish or inverts. I wish I could sandblast it. It is beautiful, really. When you move around it you can see through to the backside on many of those holes.

Doc, I pm'd Rachel but haven't heard back from her yet. I want to let her have her choice on one of the rocks. A single if a big one, or a couple of smaller ones if she likes.

She helped me with a sick snail and sent me veggie and shrimp pellets and was willing to take my snail in and nurse it back to health if need be, and wouldn't take a penny from me. I appreciate generosity and like to return it.

There are several others that are wanting some holey rock and I want to share it. Really, I have a source that is limited only by my energy and muscle power.

I expect to have some fabulous finds in the near future. When I went to see my neice and we went out to the property; it's just unbelievable. It's all over the surface of the ground and in the ground just peeking out. When you put a shovel under an edge you may have a 15 pounder or a boulder to try to dig up, lol.

She's going to have a back hoe and a bulldozer in there digging a swimming pool and is going to just pile it up for me. I'm going to borrow a friends utility trailer when I go back and I'm taking some hulking teenagers with me. I know I will be making a lot of trips.

There's a friend of hers already living in this developement; she has a 5600 sq.ft. house, and she has these rocks all over the place, too, and said I can have whatever I like from her, too. These lots are 3 to 5 acre lots.

I may put some on eBay later, but I will always offer to AC members first, especially the ones that I have seen work hard helping others, and that includes you, doc. I may not work as hard trying to clean this stuff when I'm giving it away, though.
I'll sure get all the dirt out of it so shipping will be rock only and no extra weight.

If you would like that big rock, and if Rachel doesn't want it, I will let you have it.

I only want to get the cost of shipping and whatever packaging I have to do to ship them. I think I'll try to wrap in bubblewrap maybe. Suggestions are welcome.
