Texas with eggs.

Dorsal fin is.....______? On the back or tail end? :lipssealedsmilie: I've got a Jack Demsey. I'm clue less and learning lots but not sure if its a he or she.

I got it like it 1.5 in size and now its huuuge. He creeps my husband out because hubby says he's watching what he's doing. :uhoh:

jacks are very different at sexing im posting a thread on how to do this tomorrow the dorsal fin is the one running down its back. jacks will have more blue on the gill plates if there female and less if there male

A lot of the eggs are gone now but she is still looking after the ones that are left. I have also noticed my sev' shaking his caudal fin in her face. Is a sevurm, texas hybrid possible?

i have yet to here about one. but a sevrum is one of the cichlid thought to equal a parrot fish, so it might be possible. but very unlikely they would juts look like ugly parrots

Thanks.

I didn't really want any breeding going on in my tank but i bought all my fish to small to sex.
