Thank you Veterans

Oddly enough....I was in upstate NY yesterday at Fort Drum saying goodbye to my step son who is an MP in the 10th Mountain Division. He will be in Iraq for at least 15 mos.

I was in the Army myself, I went to Saudi Arabia...never saw any combat though.

It sure was a lot tougher saying goodbye to him this time then it ever was for me to go the first time. I don't know if it's age or just being a parent, but I'm really scared for him. It's so much uglier this time. But, he, much like I was, is proud to do his duty. Please say a prayer for him.

God Bless

Thanks to all our Vets, active and retired!!! And an especial thanks to the families that support them back here at home!

My uncle was a Marine in the current Iraq War, but now he retired. He's young too... thirty or so? But, well, he's the coolest guy ever, cheers to him!
