Just a quick thanks. I have been keeping fish for decades. just started to bow to the "planted tank" after years of passing interest.
Tom Barr I met in a chat session late one night at another board. Topic was the low tech tank. RTR, I have read your articles about the plant filter a while back and never connected the dots (i am in my fifties now and have several of those kinds of senior events on a regular basis).....Roan Art it is refreshing to read your thoughts, questions, and comments. It is as if you are going through the same process that i am and doing all the thinking for me--or at least giving me things to think about as i keep moving down the path to get a planted tank to where i want it to go.
Just thought i would say thanks for the help you are providing. I know how much time boards take. And, how thankless the "task" seems at times (i guess it is those times that make it seem like a task--while 90% of the time it is a delight to help others get the enjoyment out of the hobby while avoiding the frustrations).
