Maverick...did it take very long for the order to reach you?

Thanks for the responses,

Gin
I received my plants in 2 days packed in an insulated box with a heat pack.

Anyone on this board ever able to grow Green Hedge in an aquarium? It lasted a few weeks for me (after numerous ppl said it wouldn't last) but it is listed and sounds like a viable aquarium plant...

It looks similar to what I had but I guess it's possible that it's different.
gstoffer, good luck with it.

My understanding is that a Green Hedge is more of a bog plant meaning it shouldn't be fully submerged or it will die off over time. Its kind of meant for a pond.

Well maybe I should change the the green hedge then to something else, I only know what I read at that pet place...but if it is really a pond plant then I think I will get something else.

Thanks for the input about it, I would much rather get something I know will work, than something that "might" work.

Glad I didn't get a chance to order yet, looks like I'll be waiting until Jan. 3rd now, Thanks for letting me know about that Roan!!

Or the lemon trees!!!

may i ask how big the plants are from that petplace? are they like twigs small and skimpy? are they potted?
ive had such bad luck that im afraid to order online again. mainly my bad luck has been with ebay though, they would send me like one cutting which always died

So I'm not crazy! At least not about the Green Hedge anyway.

vaderbanger, I hate to sound like a broken record (record?...what's that?) but aquabid.com is worth a try!

Hey, don't feel bad -- I also read that my Japanese Varigieted Dwarf Rush isn't a true aquatic plant either :)

Bloody explains why it's the only plant I have that has no growth -- no new leaves -- and looks like it's dying one leaf at a time.
