Silly question maybe-
Will these be ok in a 75g tank with Cory's, Pleco, Tetra's, and Zebra Danios? Or will they slowly become food?

They should be ok, i dont thinnk any of the listed fish will be large enough to eat these guys, except maybe for the babies, but if you have some good ground cover for them to hide in you should be ok.

I have several in my 125 gal discus tank..
with 7 clown loaches...

Hey there Zigman!! Thanks for the welcome...I've been looking for some cherry shrimp. I haven't totally started up the tank yet though. Does the tank have to be up and running with the plants already doing their jobs etc for a long time for these little guys to acclimate to the water? I planned on taking about 15 gallons from my 55 gal tanks and adding fresh rockford tap...dechlorinated of course...then adding the plants and shrimp at the same time. Is that a bad idea? I hear they can't handle nitrates or ammonia. I have the contitioners for all that stuff....would they make it in my 55 cichlid tank despite the cichlids trying to eat them? There are tons of hiding places. I'm in rockford...how close are you?

So if I were hoping to have cherry shrimp as a home disease-free source of snacks for my large carnivore fish, would it be possible to have them with the feeder-breeder guppies and still be reproducing successfully? Or would the guppies eat the babies? Also, do you have any opinion as the deliciousness of cherry shrimp in the eyes of ghost knives and oscars? =P

Yes, they are sensative to ammonia, and nitrates, The tank should be cycled, and the inlet to your filter should be covered with fine screen, or a sponge pre filter to avoid sucking up the tiny baby shrimp. i have several in my 125 gal discus tank, and they seem to be ok, but they are a tasty snack for any fish big enough to eat them. I am in Northwest Indiana.

I think any fish big enough to eat them will testify that they are tastey...
I would say set up a breeder tank, and put some in your main tank once in a while.. or just keep buying them from me!!
