Just wanted to show an example of the algae eating capabilities of amano shrimp.

Piece of wood with moss infested with bba:


2 days later after being added to a tank with 50 amano shrimp (subadult/1" my holding tank for sales):

I am sorry for the loss. They killed all that beautiful black stuff. Hopefully it will grow back.

wish i had pics of some of my before and after with hair algae. i had some i tossed in the tank over night it was gone.

and 2 days later, no visible algae left at all

i just htought people would like to see a true display, lol. The adults are even more impressive at eating algae.
