The algae eating capabilities of amano shrimp

Do you have some really freaking huge ones you could sell? Like... bigger than neons? Otherwise Steve the Spotted Climbing Perch will eat them... I have lots of bba and hair algae for them to eat.

My good Lord they did an awesome job taking care of that BBA. Curios though. Will they eat hair algea off the glass wall of the tank? Reason I ask is cause I had hair algea once and it cover my glass. Had BBA on my rocks along with another algea. Would of been cool to of let these guys eat it all up instead of me spending over an hour trying to clean it with scrubbers, blades and toothbrushes lol. Thanks for sharing that Rachel. Thats just crazy.
 
Yea, I love how awesome they are at that. I didn't know they were algae cleaners when I first bought some, so imagine my surprise the next morning when all my algae was gone =]. Then I got a killi so they became a fishy snack =[
 
They graze constantly.

For instance, I had a 75g INFESTED with clado. The clado was in teh substrate, walls, wood, plants, everywhere. They decimated it.

Keep in mind, I keep them in the hundreds though so your results will not be nearly as fast or dramatic :)
