As for controlling algae that does'nt exist yet... You can add plants to soak up nutrients that the algae needs, reduce excess leftover food in your tank to reduce fertilizer that algae needs, reduce light if you don't have plants, start a good regimine of extra water changes to keep floating levels down...
There's no problem yet. Prevention is easier than cure, so watch your excess food and feed your plecos. Well fed plecos like to polish things.
