My 29 Gallon Endler/CPD/Amano/Cherry Shrimp tank has a Bolbitis that has a patch of hair algae on it. I could trim that particular leaf but the shrimp are drawn to it, so I just pull some of it off to keep it in check. IMG_2263.JPG

I had CPO crayfish in a 30 long a couple years ago. There was a clump of hair algae that grew to about the size of a grapefruit. It was nicely rounded from spinning in the bubble stream from a sponge filter, and one of the female crayfish actually lived in a pocket in the ball. I never could understand why she didn't get dizzy.

Nice tank! Maybe it is fine enough to catch things and provide a dinner plate for them...
