Thanks Nicole. I did bunch some plants close together in the corner for any platy fry that turn up. I do feed the cories sinking wafers, but the platys, balloon bellys, and angelfish like them too so I'm going to start putting those in at night. I feed twice a day, but only what they can eat in a minute. I learned how long to feed them after much water testing and many water changes. I have been thinking about a backround, but not sure if I want solid blue or black.

Platytudes is right on that. However some people do prefer the intakes to be low in the tank, it's all preference. If your doing regular gravel vacuuming then your filter intakes won't need to be low in the tank and as mentioned by Platytudes making sure your filter turns over the water volume sufficiently is a must and is key to clean healthy water.
