The drawback to growing trees in your paludarium

the tree caught on fire in it's original pot, which was filled with dried moss. I trimmed off one last branch from that before I threw it away, and stuck that trimming in my island. The fire was started by some rogue incense.
It seems we have a serial arsonist in the making here...:lipssealedsmilie:

What size is that tank? I need a different tree or bush for my palu (40g breeder with a topper that doubles the height), and that one looks like it would look nice in there and prune better than my schefflera. Any info on height, width, etc would be greatly appreciated!
it's not so bonsai. I really need to cut and shape it. There is more tree outside the tank than inside.
The tank's a 15g tall, with 10g of water. to really get the most out of one of these, you need at least 18" of head room for the tree.... Although if you start pruning early, you might be able to get it to stay smaller.
