if you enlarge the photo and look in the middle on the top of the leaf you can see one!...i can only see about 4 in the breeder box at the moment super super tiny.

I have a male. I got him from a LFS a few years back. I got females too but they keep dying soon after purchase. I can't seem to find healthy stock at the LFS. I need to order them online, I guess. My male is lonely.

well...mine have eggs again!!
not going to pull them this time as i am busy with the current ever growing batch...Ill be selling some this spring for fairly cheap, maybe you can pick up a few healthy girls ^_^
super slow growers it is nearly impossible from what i read to sex them before 3 months.
I have one, count it!, ONE fry!! She's a few months old. Even when they're pretty small, you can start looking for the black outline on the edge of the fins on the females. If you feed color enriching foods, it also helps brighten things and makes it easier to see.

..and good to now about the outlining..my female is almost completely lacking in an outline ..wonder if that will be passed on and make things difficult..
