Hiya again all,
Guess waht? thats right more questons! :duh:
Its been 13 days since i got tank and put first zebra danio in to cycle the tank. The levels appear to be doing what everyone has been saying they would. my ph is stable and my ammonia is at 1.0, i was wondering should i do a 25% water change becuase of the zebra in the tank or should i let the natural build up occure to promote the nitro cycle? :shark:

As long as there is ammonia (doesn't matter if its .5 or 1.0) in the tank the cycle will continue, so do a water change and reduce the ammonia level for your danio.

how big is your tank? if its 10 gal or bigger, i'd definitely get a few more zebras (it sounded like you only had one).

If you want the fish to stay alive and continue to cycle the tank you will need to keep ammonia and nitrite as low as possible ;) ! I wouldn't get anymore fish until the tank has cycled, and then you will want to add slowly, only 2-3 a week, to allow the bacteria to catch up.
