The infamous Arowanas

Yes, when my fish leave me they go to a good home. One of my good friends is the owner of an aquarium store! Also, when I said larger Arowana's...I meant 2-3" with no sacks! Oh yea, I do have an African Butterfly Fish ;). Well, unfortunately, it doesn't look like anyone here can help me so I must move on. Thanks for the advice whether it was good or bad.

Yea Matt, come see us man. The store is is barely over a year old. The owner and my boss' name is Danny...extremely friendly when you meet him. Majority of the store is salt water, but there is plenty of freshawater as well. I'm trying to convince him to stock some more unique freshwater fish, but because he is new...if those fish die it's quite a sufficient loss. Plus, the season sucks right now. Have you seen Aqua Zoo lately? Every tank is catching diseases! By the way, we usually have the best prices around town and if not we price match ;)...

Fish Bowl Aquariums...how appropriate. I am curious about one thing though, your "Death Tank" that would destroy a plain ol' boring angel. If you're keeping fish because you want to watch them chase each other or kill each other or whatever, you're doing it for the wrong reason. It's the same thing as keeping a hungry pit bull with a bunch of cats because you want to see them fight. Even if your fish don't kill each other directly, they probably will in the end from chasing each other so much. Or do you just wait until they're almost dead and give them away? You also shouldn't keep fish to impress other people. If you want to impress somebody else, go buy yourself a nice car. The fish should be who you try to impress the most. Yeah, you can say you're just getting bashed, and I think that at times people do get bashed on here undeservedly. You aren't in that category though.

vaheelsfan, you have it all wrong my friend. I call it that because the majority of fish in that tank are cichlids and they all get aggressive with one another every once in a while, but no one ever kills each other. I would never buy fish to just simply watch them kill one another, that's way too expensive and the fish are way too pretty to just do something stupid like that. All I meant by "The Death Tank" name is that I can only put hardy fish or fish that can stand their own ground in there. 'Cause if they can't, they will be killed...so that is my reason for giving it that name.

And as far as the "impressing" goes, I only like all the weird, exotic fish. And it's just neat to not have the regular tank that you see in every home.
