The LFSs in my town are USELESS!!!

I can get my Dwarf Croaking Gouramis and Purple Emperor Tetras on Dr.s Foster and Smith but I still can't find my Betta Imbellis. Help, anyone?
 
I've gotten plants both from club fish auctions (coming up in Detroit,Mi April), and aquabid. Both have worked out well for me (but then, so do petsmart plants). I really like the auctions, they usually have a huge variety and you get to see them. And Hey, the money goes for a good cause.
 
Sorry for the delay Beeker. I have ordered from aquariumplants.com in the past. They are having a sale on bunch plants and crypts right now. Yesterday I ordered some Salvinia and Water Lettuce from floridadriftwood.com. My experience with aquariumplants.com has been 50/50. I'll let you know how floridadriftwood does.

I'm trying aquabid right now. They have the Betta and two of the five plants I'm looking for. I found two more on another website, of course, I can't remember which one right now, since I've been going through so many. We'll see what happens.
 
Does it have to be an imbellis or are you just seeking a peaceful betta? If you just want a peacful betta and your other fish don't have long fins you can get a female betta. We keep them in all the community tanks at work and they don't cause problems. Although I wouldn't put one in with an angel or similar long finned slow fish.
