Thanks guys! I ordered the LED+. Really excited to see how it lights the tank! I'll let you know if the plants I have in there grow well or not... I'm sure they will.

Looks like a nice fixture, but good luck with the plant growage. I'm assuming you bought the 18watt 48" LED strip light? I don't think that's going go kick out significant PAR for plant sustainability, but if you get some decent ambient light (and low light plants) as well, it may work for you.

Yeah, I think it will work. I got the 48"-60" lights with 30 watts. If I understand it right, it has a par of 21 with a depth of up to 24".

Probably will get around 28 mmol PAR, maybe a bit lower, when factoring in the substrate height. Fine for low light plants but not much more.
