I just need confirmation on this, but when cycling the tank for the first time, there will be some live rock that "dies back" a bit. when this happens, is there a white kind of slime that looks like bacteria that starts to cover the part that has died?

from what i've read it will be a white / milky white slime. if so, use a new toothbrush and scrub off the white slime in a bucket of saltwater.
