What kind of advice? I use one, but I only use the blue fiber filter to filter out big floaters. I was using carbon in it for a while, but between the live rock, and a skimmer, I quit using carbon. The thing I hated about it, was if the power shut of, you would have to help it re-prime sometimes.
I think they are easy to clean, and work well, but others will say no. Remeber that you will have to keep a supply of carbon on hand if you use that feature
