The mystery snails got busy........eggs

I can usually tell approximate colors within a week or so, striped seem to be easier to see quicker than solids. The solid snails take a few weeks until you can tell for sure.

Hi, I am new to the whole fish keeping hobby. But I am absolutely loving it ...I had molly fry born 1 week after starting, and now I"M a snail mom. My question is why do the take them off of the glass and lay new eggs>>This is what seems to be happening now. I am doing the paper towels in the tupperware dish for 2 clutches that were replaced by the ones they took down.

Wow, I got my very first clutch tonight when I got home. I have a trollop of an ivory snail and a frisky blue and golden. I call them the snail porn trifecta. Anyway, after many nights of "OMG are you two (sometimes three)done YET?" I now have a clutch. I'm excited and still dont know what to do, meaning hatch them or freeze them. Im tempted to just leave it alone and see what happens, kinda like my live bearers. if some live-woohoo! It's my first clutch, apparently I've been lucky with same sex snails for a long time so I am still torn. But wow I was excited to see it tonight when I got home.

Update: Baby snails will eat new snail clutches (I'm trying to do something positive with them since I don't want to hatch them all. They didn't work so well as fish food, but the snails seem to like them.) The babies are growing and are currently chowing on spinach and snail eggs and making lots of poo. I can't tell what color they will be yet, they all seem kinda transparent and full of poo.

You can see some new pictures in the "snails week 2" photo album in my profile. Including a picture of their parents (Butterfly and Birdseye) getting busy. Again.
