He's been there for a while, I'm going to assume, but lately "he" has been so very noticeable. I want to kill it, so bad! Every time I'm checkin' it out, I feel like the neighbor is going to think I'm looking in their window. The thing is, since I live in a "quad" type of Condo, our patio doors are only like 2 feet from each other. Anyone know what type it is? Is it "poisonous" or safe? They have a 3 year old. Should I kill it?

And this is just a random something or other that was close by so I took a pic of it...

Spiders eat bugs... I let them alone unless they are inside the house.... and the one pictured looks like a common spider, it isn't a brown recluse or black widow so I'd let it be, or just tell the neighbor about it and let them decide how to protect their 3 year old.

The second one looks like something we used to see as a kid, we called it a "stink bug" cause they smell awful if you disturb them.

I agree that spiders eat bugs. However, I for some reason, believe that this looks like a brown widow spider. That being said, I would not want it to bite their child and cause him problems. Ya know?

Not a brown widow spider it is way to bulky, it is a common garden spider just leave it and let it eat bugs.... Now if it builds it's web over somepalce I walk through then that sucker is a gonner I hate walking through spider webs....

I have raid and I know how to use it! HAHA, all too frequently, I use it! You're right Zig, it does look like that other one. Fatter would likely mean that "it" possibly contains eggs. Ugh@ the brown recluses in your yard. Those are some scare mofos too! Don't let 'em getcha!

I can only hope that you're right!

It is in no way a brown widow spider or even a poisionious one it is a common garden spider we have hundreds with in 20 feet of my front door.

I had one attached to my face the other night when I went down to the shop these suckers build webs across any open space..

Hate them but they are harmless

I don't mind spiders crawling around the house. They do help keep the insects away . . .

Then again, for the most part we got those pewny little hairless skinny legged non venomous spiders. If I find one of those hairy legged ones, I'd try to get it out of the house.
