the new canopy!

we built this today!

tomorrow we are building a series of slate "caves" for our empty 29 gallon. we are thinking of housing dwarf puffers in it

we are stoked! it was pretty easy and made our tank look so much nicer. the lights arent mounted to it, but still. the tank had a faux wood trim that looked tacky. now its completely covered up. and its cat proof

i dunno, i saw some really warped pieces of wood at home depot and lowes...

also, if youre capable of cutting angles, couldnt you make one that would fit around the bow?

thank you everyone! projects like this are inspiring. it makes me want to jump on craigslist and buy a huge tank and build my own stand and another canopy...

or maybe just build myself an enormous tank. my pleco will need one anyway
