Hmmm, how much water changes weekly does it take, even though it should be daily...

Dang... $200 for 3 fish... GO BLUE DIAMONDS!

Well I never expected a tie... I guess it is time to flip a coin at the petstore tomorrow. :D

I broke the tie by voting blue diamond! :D The patterns are beautiful on the golden and pigeon blood, but I just love the blud shade on the diamond.

Well Bender81 broke the tie, I checked in before visiting the pet store so I just picked up 3 blue diamonds! (pigeon blood voters can now begin sending him hate mail :D ) They are floating in their bags as we speak! I got one of them for cheap because he was pretty beat up from a dominant male golden discus in the store tank so it cost me $160 for the set of 3 3"+ discus. If he doesn't make it I will buy a third blue diamond from another source to keep the bloodline "clean". Pics later today or tomorrow if they are stessed.

Thanks to all the voters for picking out some really beautiful fish! :hi:

Glad the blue diamond won. You needed a one color fish in there to break up all those stipes...lol !

Beautiful fish by the way, can't wait to see the pic with the blue diamonds added !

Me too! I think they will look great in there. I saw some really cute solid golden discus at the store when I picked these up, maybe they will end up in my tank in a few months. :p:

The diamonds won't make the big tank for a week or two since they are on "lock down" to protect the main tank. I don't want a repeat appearance of flukes or whatever the hell it was I had in there a few months back.

I still do daily water changes, I just don't siphon or vac every day. I disconnect the filter outlet and drain it that way then pump it back into the tank while the discus are totally oblivious. :D
I change about 15 gallons a day right now but I am setting up RO equip and will probably go with a 50 gallon change every other day of 50/50 RO/tap water. Then after my wife hides my credit cards I will have to wait a while for my next step. :p:
