Hey all

Just brought a Zebrasoma flavescens also wanted a Acanthurus leucosternon but they were not available until next week.
The Zebrasoma flavescens is in the tank at the moment and i am planning on adding the Acanthurus leucosternon.
I have read alot of material and ask many people but have had conflicing arguments on if when i add him they will fight. I might add that they are both juvies.

Also, when i put the Zebrasoma flavescens in the tank, the Centropyge bispinosus wouldnt leave him alone and has suffered a small amount of fin damage. This has died down a little but will not let him in the rock work.

Thanks very much
Nick

I'm afraid that it will get worse until you lose one of them. Somtimes different varities of tangs will get along but, in other cases you'll loose one or both fish. Sorry but, I'd get rid of one of them .

The Zebrasoma flavescens and the Centropyge bispinosus have settled down :D
Hey Chris when u say "Somtimes different varities of tangs will get along but, in other cases you'll loose one or both fish. Sorry but, I'd get rid of one of them", are you talking about the above or the Zebrasoma flavescens and the Acanthurus leucosternon.

I was trying to buy them together so they can be added at the same time which helps them establish together without fighting.

Thanks
Nick

Well, very glad it worked out for you. To be honest I probably did overreact a bit. If it didn't work out though I would always get rid of the one that was doing the worst.
