IME the colors will change over time. When I bought mine it was the same bright yellow as rallysman's ornate but as it grew bigger the bright yellows somewhat faded and it gained more black spots. Basically the black spots that it has now will grow larger over taking the yellow as the dominant color.

I figured that was the case, but I can be hopeful! Either way, I really like these guys and have wanted some for quite a while.

They get about 20" so a 24" wide tank will suit them well. I'm growing this guy one out in a 125
