Well... idk.

I believe the people who voted to lynch me are townies, since I am apparently suspicious. And I don't see why any mafia would vote me, since I hadn't indicated at all that I was a townie. Unless some of the people who voted to lynch me were mafia trying to look innocent, later to retract their votes.

But clown lover voted to lynch DD, instead of me who everyone else found more suspicious. That in itself is suspicious. Then, to me, DD made herself obvious that she is innocent, since she vote to lynch me and she wouldn't have had the motive to do that had she been mafia.

If he saw that and retracted his vote on her, he would not be mafia.

If he did not retract his vote, he possibly didn't see that the same way I did, or else he is mafia.

But now, Lady G, who also voted to lynch me therefor exposing she was innocent, has voted to lynch DD, who also did the same. So I guess I'm takng everything differently than other people.

Liz I think you are making a big mistake thinking that everyone who voted for you is innocent. It NEVER works like that. Mafia want to take out anyone who they think might be innocent, which a lot of the times ends up being newbs who "slip." Mafia want to blend in. That is what DD is doing.

Liz, Mafia will jump on innocents they will also jump on other mafia...if it will help them out. But right now the Mafia do not know each other. Also not everyone is going to vote the same person, some may see a reason others "seem" mafia but vote them b/c they feel more strongly about someone else.

So they will lynch suspected mafia in order to look innocent?

I don't understand why someone voting to lynch someone else on basically no basis would indicate that they are mafia?

Wouldn't mafia look for someone who was obviously a townie to vote for?

Well I suppose they have to disguise their votes somehow, maybe with no good "innocent" basis so they use a stupid reason to cover?

is that why someone voting someone for a dumb reason indicates they are mafia?

it might not indicate that they are mafia but it proves that they obviously dont have any thoughts for themselves at this point and are trying to follow the crowd.

if stuff like this continues through out the game, it is a very good indicator of scummy-ness

yep happens all the time. mafia would not risk defending someone who is so obviously mafia. it jeopardizes themselves.

Liz- You may want to read through one of the prior games. This is known as train forming. A large number of votes on one person allow the mafia to blend in. Remember, they are a minority (especially small right now since the pairings haven't happened) and they don't care which townie they kill so long as they are innocent. They may jump on after an initial case and vote are made by a townie or they may make the case themselves to look "helpful", though that is riskier for them because everyone looks at who the first to vote on a townie was. Many other scenarios, read through the other games and you'll see that it's really varied which is why the game doesn't seem to get boring.

Well I believe at this point everyone sees me as a naive innocent.

So everyone will probably retract their votes, the townies, and the mafia in order to blend in.

Or else I'll just get lynched because I suck haha
