I would assume that when you cast a new vote, the most recent vote is the one that counts regardless of an official "retraction" statement or not.

I agree, although it may help the Mod w/their book-keeping if you retract your vote first before you change it.

Whether Paul is a no show or not, I'm not going to worry to much about him at this point. We can deal w/that situation if he does show late and place a vote.

Yes, but since she took her vote off of Liz, and never really retracted the Jo vote does it go back on Jo or is Jo retracted? Not trying to be confusing just something I thought about when I was doing the vote tally.

Oh I see, thats right because DD never placed another vote. Logical thought would indicate that in switching her vote to Liz, she meant to negate her vote on whoever it was one before. Then by retracting her vote on Liz, would bring it back to naught. But, who needs logical thought, anyway....

:clap: Yaaay! Plantling reads the note and is glad that Sandy is recovering. He seems to be resting peacefully, so she leaves the hospital to go spread the good news. Night will fall soon and in this crazy town, who really knows what will happen? It was reported in the AC Times that the three secrect Mafia agents will select their spouses tonight. At least Sandy will be safe...

Well, I found more than a couple of Liz's posts that bothered me:

Here Liz admits to not looking innocent and has only hinted she is Mafia. Then the last line that I bolded has her saying she doesn't think anything she said indicated she is Mafia.

Also she admits to not knowing if DD and I are less suspicious because she hasn't read the whole thread. She alleges that I only voted for AkaPaul simply because he hasn't posted.


Here is my post voting Paul and giving a reason.


Here I state I am suspicious of the statement Liz made.


Here Liz votes me stating she's not sure if I just didn't see her post.


Here she plays the confused card where she doesn't understand the logistics of Mafia voting. Then in the third sentence she answers herself. Then asks another question.


Now she's assuming her confused tactic has gotten everyone to back off of her, townies and mafia, too, so they can blend in.

Hmmm, blend in? Sounds as if Liz does understand the game, she just wants to appear confused, IMHO.

I think Liz does understand the game and I think she tried setting up a little trap. I can see what she was trying to do. Then she backed off to make it look like she didn't know what she was doing. Shes playing all of you.

By acting mafiaish she thinks she could find out who was innocent. No mafia would vote for her that quickly. But once she got a couple of votes on her they would start piling on. I think anyone after the 3rd person on is suspicious.

Nope, not skimming at all. Pointing out the different "excuses" she uses is all...another thing I'm not use to seeing from D. If you notice her one about morning was made in the at 5:15pm, and her one about afternoon was made in the 10:12am. So in the morning she says she didn't have time because of a Doctor appointment in the afternoon, after getting back on and seeing the post she came back with she was busy in the morning?

So in the morning she was telling us that she was going to be busy that afternoon and that afternoon she told us she was busy at work. Why doesn't that make sense LG?

The rules state you have to retract the vote. I'd assume the vote is still on Jo.


I don't feel safe voting for Liz, I think she is an innocent with some smarts.

I don't like DDs inconsistencies but I don't feel voting for her is right either.

I'm going to look through the thread again and then place my vote. It might not be a popular move but I'm not going to be a part of voting off an innocent the 1st night.

Lady G is deep in thought, as she is walking down the street. She has heard some nasty rumors about her dearest friend DD, could these rumors be true? As she was walking and thinking to herself she hears someone call her name. man this voting is tricky tonight...it makes it a lot harder to pick out potential mafia, because the three that exist right now don't even know who each other are, so there's absolutely no cohesiveness right now. For lack of a better choice at the moment, and since I might not get on again before nightfall, I vote to lynch dangerdoll.

I'm not saying it make no sense at all Ice, but IF she was so busy w/ work that morning why didn't she say that in the first place? My biggest point is how UNLIKE her this is, along with the retracted vote one someone she didn't vote for, her jumping on the comment about my sig, I'm sorry but this is not the DD I know and as I said to her, I think all of us talking about how she plays as a mafia...she tried to change up and got caught because she knew the case she made was rather weak and wasn't really "behind" it in the first place, in her haste to try and "jump" on someone else that many were going after she made a mistake...a mafia mistake IMO.

You say you don't like her inconsistencies but don't want to vote her b/c you don't want to be part of Lynching a innocent on night one, so you are saying you think she is innocent?? Really this statement worries me slightly Ice, could you please explain it a little more?
