I spent $40 on pets and none are fish! I bought the 2" male fiddler with the large claw, a 2" red clawed female fiddler crab, a one inch small female fiddler crab, 10 ghost shrimp, fire bellied toad, and a green tree frog. I had to go on the employees word on keeping toads/frogs with the mudskipper, because I did not get an awnser here and he tried it with good results. the mudskipper quicklytook to the idea of feeder ghost shrimp and is hapy with a full stomach. the crabs are exploring, asnd after i added 6 sticks of bamboo, the frog and toad are happy playing king of the mountain on them. I will try to find a middle grownd on salinity

im sorry i cant answer ur question but just wondering how to u keep the bambo stuck on the ground lol they look reali cool in tanks makes it look mysterious lol :OT:
they work fin as long as the top inch is above water so they can breath. perfect for an aquatic style tarrarium. they should be kept in groups. I place them in groups of three. one bunch in the shalows, one bunch in the water. as to awnser the question, burry them in the substrate.
