Ok i think its great people are giving things away, but why do you need 100 posts to participate? You need 100 posts to give something away? That seems like a stupid rule to me.

You don't need 100 to give something away. We already had one person with less than 100 posts give away stuff. What you need the 100 posts for is taking an raok, since otherwise there could be people making new accounts just to get freebies.

It's to protect the generous members of AC from being taken advantage of.
 
Besides the other rule was AFTER Jan 1 everything is up for grabs, even if you already claimed something.
 
Yah what they said. Someone could be searching free fish stuff and just happen to come across this thread, so they sighn up and get free stuff? Doesn't seem quite right. Also someone who has claimed one thing could go and make another account and claim something else. WAIT but why couldn't they do that earlier and just rack up a 100 posts? Luckydude13? :devil: just kidding, don't try it. Not to mention I think they can tell by your ip adress.
 
i would be, quite honestly, too lazy to make a new sn & create 100 posts. plus, isnt that kinda obvious what theyre doing, when youre scanning the forms and the same name pops up for every thread!? haha.
