I'm sorry that this had to happen! It wasn't too long ago when you were posting pictures of your big tank and the pacu "chomping" off your shoulder.
I felt so sad when I read this. I couldn't believe it and wished that I was closer to you to help you out.
Hope that the tank system is functioning correctly now. Man! I wish I could help you.

Our deepest sympathy to you and your husband. I just got done posting on the other thread last night of the pic, and went to recheck it when I got home today from work. You did do the most anyone could ever do for a Pacu, you two should win a award for it!

Keep your head up, everyone is here for you, as you can see. ;)
 
Soooo sorry for your loss!! I can't even imagine, most fish in zoos and aquariums don't last as long as yours did. I'm sure that they all had great lives and are missed!!
 
I am so very sorry for your loss. :sad: I saw the pic of them you posted and it was very impressive. I had never heard of a 28 year old fish! Don't be too hard on yourself as I'm sure there is nothing that you could have done...freak accidents do happen even to the best of us.
