The weirdest thing happened to me..

It wasn't the real eel, but it was a full grown green wolf blenny eel or whatever you want to call it. As for the lid, there was a 3" gap that he snuck through, they have several eel tanks and keep them well covered, but after feeding time they left it open just a little.

I'm still debated whether I want it or not, well I want it, its just that they are charging $100 for him and online they are much much cheaper, but this guy was awesome. Hard to put a price on such a well adapted species. I talked to the LFS dude after and he said it probably did that because he hand feeds it out of the water like that. Now thats neat.

There is a large store near me (FSN knows the one) that a huge and I mean HUGE green moray eel in a large tank. They keep so many covers on the the top of that tank and warning posts near the top to employees to remember to secure the top again...but I still worry about getting too close to that mean looking thing.

I look forward to pictures and video if you do get him. Those are the types of fish that I love, but would never own because I would be too much of a scaredy cat to actually clean the tank. So I have to sponge off others. :D

Get 'em, you know he's healthy. ;)

At least go get pics. :D
