Just got back from my bi-monthly visit to TheFishPlace...And as usual I didnt leave empty handed. As usual I was impressed by the huge selection of fish (cichlids in particular, of course)...Highlights of the day:

7 inch frontosas: $39.99
4.5 inch Aulonocara eureka red male (bought by me for $19.99)
Neolamprologus leleupi (for a friend: $8.99)
Two A. ruby red and one A. lwanda (all juvies at two inches; 4.99 and 5.99, respectively)
A stunning 10'' female red terror I owned for about a week guarding her eggs in the 2000 display tank full of pike cichlids and other fish (I also witnessed the other cichlids in the tank mob her and steal her eggs :( )
A. stuartgranti (all on hold for some dude...****!) $11.99
Some navy blue wierd madagascaran species...Pytochromis or something?: $11.99

I keep forgetting to ask about that! Do they let just anyone downstairs?

No they don't. I imagine if you pecome friends with the owner they let you. For me, it is really a "trip" when I go there, seeing as that I am coming from New Orleans. I have several relatives who live in Buffalo, so I visit every few years. Your best bet is to talk to pete at aquabid. He is the owner. I know he does a lot of chats on aquabid.;)
