Theories on Aliens?

It's possible that there was no "true" beginning of time. Nature is all about cycles. The seasons change, the tides rise and fall, day turns to night and then back again, life forms die, decay, become nutrients within the soil, and eventually become a part of another living thing.

From what I understand, scientist believe that eventually, the universe will stop expanding and the whole process will start to reverse and begin to implode on itself. Some day, the univers may eventually revert to the point of the Big bang.

We know there are cycles in nature, and that one of the few constants in the universe in math. It's could be argued that the universe is the greatest fractal immaginable--no beginning and no end. It just keeps repeating itself over and over.

A complete vacuum still has volume. We define the universe and space according to the matter and energy it holds, but the space would still be there without any of it.

Yeah, I've read some about fractal patterns and their infinit possibilities. It's really incredible that through math, we find patterns, through patterns, we find some understanding of existence itself. To me, these have always been the bigger questions in all our lives.
We realize deep down (albeit reluctantly for some) that we are so small in comparison to this vastness we call the universe. I believe it is why we look up to the stars in the first place. Maybe we even have relatives out there, who might even look just like us, but within are molecularly different.

Everyone always says they will look out of this world when in fact, they could be so familiar. Not alot of this theory is publicized, but I have heard of it in a few places. Remember, sometimes the answer to a mystery is the one you least expect.

As for the theory that there could be something down in theocean, I definitely stay open to that. The ocean is largely unsurveyed, it is also very difficult to build things that will stand up to all the pressure down there. The one thing that I'd like to know is if any, and what kinds of giant sea creatures live in there. The deepest one I know of is the Marianus?sp Trench. Supposedly, it's miles deep. Something's gotta be down there. I just wouldn't go in one of those little bubble/sub things with the lights, If a giant squid came out it would more than likely try to eat you.

I'm a big fan of Carl Sagan.

Mathematically there must be a total of either 7 or 11 dimensions. Most pysicists lean toward 11. And we live in 4 dimensions. 3 are spatial(Height/Width/Length) and the 4 is time.

One cause that attempts to offer why the Big Bang happened was that the 11 dimensions were an unstable combination. They broke apart. 7 of them shrunk to the size of practically nothing. Time was another spatial dimension that turned into a linear dimension. So what happened before the Big Bang? Quite possibly nothing. Because Time did not exist like it does now. Like a glass scuplture that sat timeless, no past, no future. Then it shattered and everything began.

Now I'm not saying I understand what I just said exactly. But that's what I've been led to believe from what I've read. ...(I hir 'submit repley..! dmmit!

>Dimensions.< I thikn you have "what's going on"..

I wish I did understand it

guess no post...

Wonder how the "prophet" in Vegas is coming along...? Will he "call" the "big ship"?

I was wondering, after watching one of those UFO documentaries, what do some of you guys think aliens could want with us? Do you think they could have something to do with our ancient civilizations, or our origins? And what if anything could they be abducting people for? For some reason, I just feel like getting others' possible theories on this phenomena. There's just so many things about it that need to be understood yet.
My theory is that people who drink lots of alcoholic beverages and drive pick up trucks seem more likely to be anal-probed than other folks... Now, I wonder why that is?

In all seriousness, any civilization capable of intergalactic transportation would have little interest in cave men like us. Perhaps our resources would be useful to exploit to such a race, but honestly, my theory on aliens is that they have never seen us, visited us or probed a single redneck in a truck. I do, however, feel extra terrestrial life exists, and that they are just as limited in their transportation and bound by the laws of physics as we are.
