no the head color looks like a juli cory or any cory with that swiggley pattern just darker this pic was the best i could get

Flash and clown pleco are the same thing; aka emperor plec. The latin name is Panaque maccus formerly Peckolita pulcher

I have no clue what that is, but maybe it's Peckoltia braueri? Just an ugly one?

well i think i might get one but concerned about the size though i guess i could trade it in in a few years for a lot of fish if it is still rare

flash pleco is L204, also called emperor pleco. clowns are a different and much smaller panaque species.

it looks like a panaque sp., judging by head shape. Post a pic on www.planetcatfish.com and see what they say. That's an international forum with some real experts on ichthyology and taxonomy.
