two summers ago i lost my 7in female common goldfish, due to over active males while breeding. And last year i didn't see any action/eggs. so i throught i hadn't got a female, and being fully stocked i couldn't really get a new one.
checking on pond today i saw my two 6in+ males chasing my 4in white goldfish, who is one of my late females last fry.
so might have fry again this year, and luckly i'm building a new goldie pond at at friends, so perfect home for them.
