hah! i never noticed that!! Thats awesome! Dogs can naturally swim though, but lifejackets are always good. Aren't primates the only animals that can't swim?
Having 2 retreiver type dogs, fishing with them is impossible. Thier whole purpose in life is to fetch. Our labradorable has a life jacket that says "Lab tested" on the tag. While she does fine without it, she has figured out she can float with no effort. Its almost like she's using wunna those lounge floats, all she needs is a beer in one paw and a good book in the other.
