So i have this 60g tank
its acrylic, no over flow box and no holes for plumping. i really want a 10g-20g cube with a 10g refuge. since i have this 60g tank in my possession, i might just use it. all i have right now is a stand tank and canopy with t12 light 40w antic lights (which i know isnt enough)
im stil getting use to termology of reef keepers, so excuse me. if i keep it i plan to put in a horizontal overflow box at the top and run piping down to a 10g refuge in the bottom. in the refuge, i plan to just run one similar to what everyone has with a protein skimmer and cheato and a powerhead return to the tank. and in the tank ill just add another power head that looks like those jet things.
cost is roughly...
100lbs LS at 1= $100
100lbs LR at 2.50= $250
saltwater = $40
used protein skimmer=60-80
2 power heads(one in sump and one in tank) 60-80
mhs or pc 100-200
is that enough for this tank?
