thinking about stocking...

i knew that... i dont understand why ac has the min tank size as 65 though...

i'd go with a smaller puffer, like a valentini. i used to have one and i LOVED him. he had loads of personality and became rather friendly, and was excited to see me when i got home from school because he knew i was going to feed him. :)

Most places I've seen state a minimum of 75 gal (I've always wanted one as well) but they're just basic guidelines. 3 years is a long time, and the fish will grow and if it hasn't got enough room it well get stressed. You also don't know that your dad's tank is still going to be available in 3 years and you'll be stuck with a big fish in a small tank.

well it was in his office and now is just sitting in our storage unit... I fully fully expect it to be there. I had a valentini.. but the worst thing ever happened. I was in the other room, heard my protein skimmer freaking out and i saw him all puffed up and stuck on the water pump... he died later that night. Next time i buy a stand i have to make sure it has room for a sump. Boy howdy do i want one of those porcs though.

I am in idaho going to school. He is in San diego, well i would go pick it up if i could buttt im in a second floor apartment and i feel like im pushing it with a 60G right now.

Sorry i just noticed you are in the UK, im about 16 hours away from my dad right now
