Thinking of a Nano

In a 10 gallon, the 96 watt would support just about anything you could fit in there. Have you decided on the type of coral, yet? Going from the smaller tank to the 10 gallon gives you a good bit more flexibility.

As far as the rock goes, yes. If you start a tank with uncured rock, you will end up with cured rock and a cycled tank in the end.

No, I haven't decided yet. I like mushrooms and polyps the most. I also like brain coral, but I haven't done enough research yet to actually pick.

Thanks for all your guys help :)

FWIW I'd start out with the shrooms and work my way up. They are really easy, most of them need feeding if you have a fish etc. and , will grow and have babies. Anyway welcome to the s.w. side puma!

Okay guys, lighting question.

Coralife 20'' 96w quad or Current USA orbit 20'' 2X40w? The orbit has a lot of extras the coralife doesn't, coralife has more watts and is cheaper? What would you pick?
